Amana bank introduces special account for pilgrims

The Managing Director of Amana Bank Dr Idris Rashidi said in Dar es Salaam on Thursday that the Hajj Savings Account is a special account that will enable customers to save money for the Hajj, one of the fundamental pillars of Islam.  

“Our customers can now plan and decide when to travel to Mecca as it is every Muslim’s obligation to fulfill at least once in a lifetime.  Amana Bank will continue to come up with new products as well as enhance the Hajj Savings Account for the benefit of our customers,” he said.

He said Hajj Savings Account will assist customers to plan their journeys and commit themselves knowing that their money are in safe hands with Amana Bank. It will also provide comfort, convenience and chance to pilgrims to perform Hajj with a peace of mind whichever year they choose to go.

This year’s Hajj is expected in the first week of October and Dr Rashid called for the potential pilgrims to start saving from February this year, an amount that would sufficiently meet all the expenses.   Some of the benefits which could be accrued by opening Amana Bank Hajj Savings Account are an ideal investment plan and high profit returns.
